I’ll keep it short this time: for this month, I have selected three fantastic picks that will make your summer even brighter. Some of them are by my all-time favorite authors.

What is the book about and why is it worth reading?
"Malibu Rising" is a captivating story set in 1980s Malibu, centering around the Riva siblings—Nina, Jay, Hud, and Kit—who host an annual legendary end-of-summer party in their house. As the night unfolds, family secrets and emotions come to the surface, forcing the siblings to confront their complex relationships with each other and their larger-than-life father. In the morning, the mansion is gone up in flames.
“Malibu Rising" is a beautifully crafted novel about one night in the life of a family. It dives into the themes of fame, relationships, and self-discovery, provoking a range of emotions in readers, from laughter to heartache. P.S.: For enthusiastic fans like myself, I have good news for you: film adaptations of Emily’s first three adult novels are currently in the making, woohoo! I can’t wait to see her stories come alive on the big screen.
